The Blind Spot has been serving customers since 1994. We enjoy helping our clients find the right application for their windows.

We know about all the latest products to enter the market. We know how they are made, what’s good and what’s not. Our owner was a quality engineer for Lockheed Martin. He can tell you if the product has changed over the years and why.

The Blind Spot is a Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer.  We have aligned ourselves due to the exceptional service and support we get from them, and their continued investment in research and development.

Their quality is also well known, and they are local, here in Broomfield. Only a few other manufacturers have brought new products to market in the last five years.

That said, we can sell other brands when you are looking to match existing, or you cannot find the right color, material or price with Hunter Douglas.

We also have a large selection of fabrics to choose from for custom drapery. We carry  lines of Fabricut, Kasmir, Carole,  Trend & RM Coco. And through our membership at the Denver Design Center, we can show you many more lines of fashionable fabric.

Convenience

With a Gallery Showroom you have the best of both worlds.  You can touch and feel the actual products in our spacious and nicely appointed showroom, browse sample books, and make initial selections.  Yet we also make in-home appointments to further your shopping experience and make sure you’re totally delighted with your decision.

There are so many factors to consider when purchasing window coverings: texture, color, light control, installation, and coordination with other furnishings. We bring hand held samples so you can see how the blind or shade operates. We have the sample books for you to choose color and texture – in your window! Our measuring and consultation service is free. Never any obligation to buy.

Our prices are reasonable. We believe we are offering our customers great personal service and selection. You know you will receive professional measurements and proper advice. No guessing! The products you purchase from us will fit in the window opening and operate correctly. If not, it is backed-up by our personal guarantee and manufacturer warranties. We sell you the product and we service the product. You will work with the same sales person if you were happy with the service and sale of your previous project.

Reliability

All our products are backed with Limited Lifetime warranties, and we guarantee our installation for a year, we will come back FREE of charge in the first year if a problem arises. Ask for references. Our customers will tell you: if they had a problem, we corrected it. Our goal is 100 percent satisfied customers!

Authorized Repairs

We are also an Authorized Service Center (ASC) for Hunter Douglas.  We can repair the most common problems with their product line: re-strings, broken tilter mechanisms, non-functioning cord locks, etc. We can also cut down shades and troubleshoot battery operated and hard-wired motorized issues.

We can also repair MOST other brands with older cord lift systems, but not items purchased from Home Depot and online.  Anything with a plastic headrail is made in China or elsewhere and we cannot get parts.
